E-Bike Tours in the Zillertal

Of course, there are countless ways to get around on two wheels—whether uphill, downhill, or on flat terrain, with narrow road tires or nearly all-terrain treads.  As a local and host, I consider the mountain bike tour from Gerlos to the Wildgerlostal one of the most beautiful in the Zillertal.

The route winds through the Hohe Tauern National Park up to the Zittauer Hütte’s material cable car—a bike-and-hike tour in a class of its own. The view of the massive rock formations and glacial giants of the Reichenspitze and the Gabler is simply breathtaking. Once you reach the top, pure enjoyment awaits you at the Zittauer Hütte—with one of the most spectacular mountain panoramas in the Zillertal. The Lower Gerlossee impresses with its idyllic setting, while the more adventurous can experience magical moments at the Upper Gerlossee. A true highlight for anyone seeking adventure in the mountains!
