Stroller and Baby Carriage Rental

We provide high-quality strollers and baby carriages for toddlers free of charge. As a family-friendly hiking hotel, we also offer top-quality backpacks and baby carriers for hikes with a stroller. In winter, families can borrow sleds with backrests free of charge. If you’re wondering which stroller-friendly walking and hiking trails in Tyrol are both manageable and fun, the Zillertal is the perfect place for you. Here are some of the most beautiful hiking trails for strollers:

Stillupsee (1,300 m): A traffic-calmed route along the crystal-clear mountain lake with alpine huts and flexible access (bus transfer to Gasthof Wasserfall).
Wimmertal (1,100 m): An idyllic hike to the Wimmertalalm with a small playground—a perfect destination for families.
Schönachtal near Gerlos (approx. 1,200 m): A sun-drenched valley, ideal for leisurely walks with breathtaking views.

Tip! The Zillertal offers ideal destinations at moderate altitudes. Especially popular with young families: a family bike ride along the Ziller River to the valley’s most beautiful playgrounds. Why? For infants under one year of age, it’s recommended to avoid extended stays above 1,800 meters, as they are not yet able to regulate pressure equalization on their own.

For group bike rides, we rent high-quality Corratec mountain and city bikes in various sizes—including children’s bikes with 16- and 20-inch wheels. The rental fee is 20 euros per day for adults and 10 euros for children, each including a bike helmet. Safe child seats are available for younger children.

This way, you can leave your bike at home and relax and enjoy your family vacation in the Zillertal. Your own bikes are in good hands in our modern bike area, which features a bike storage room, a washing station, and handy accessories.

Family Bike Trail Right Next to the Bike Hotel | The popular Zillertal Bike Trail runs along the Ziller River and is ideal for bike rides with children. Along the way, you’ll find family-friendly attractions such as playgrounds in the Zillertal, the Schlitterer swimming lake, and the Zell am Ziller amusement park with its mini-golf course.

If your legs get tired, you can easily take the Zillertalbahn back to Kaltenbach—perfect for a relaxing family biking vacation in Tyrol.
