    AdlerBühne Ahorn – Spectacular Birds of Prey Show in the Zillertal The Ahorn, located above Mayrhofen in the Mountopolis adventure region, is one of the most impressive panoramic mountains in the Zillertal. The modern Ahornbahn cable car provides convenient access to the Ahorn Plateau—a special highlight is the SkyRide Ahorn: On the open-air observation deck of Austria’s largest aerial tramway, you glide upward under the open sky and enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Zillertal mountains.

    At the top, visitors can enjoy the AdlerBühne Ahorn with its spectacular eagle show, where birds of prey can be observed in their natural habitat, as well as the idyllic Ahornsee, which invites you to take a relaxing stroll with a magnificent panoramic view.

Murmelland on the Zillertal High Road

The Zillertal Marmot Land, located at an altitude of about 1,800 meters, is one of the most popular family destinations along the Zillertal High Road, one of the most scenic routes in Tyrol. A special perk: This mountain adventure is accessible even without a mountain railway ticket, making it an ideal destination that’s easy on the vacation budget.

Here, children and adults alike can observe marmots up close and discover the fascinating wildlife of the Alps. In addition to the curious marmots, there’s a petting zoo, a large adventure playground with swings, slides, and climbing structures, as well as a small stream that invites kids to dam it up, divert the water, and splash around—a true paradise for little explorers. Right next to it begins the Hubertus Wildlife Trail, one of the most popular nature trails in the Zillertal. At eight interactive stations, children learn about Tyrol’s flora and fauna in a playful way—an exciting outing for little naturalists.

The Hintertux Glacier is one of the most extraordinary adventure destinations in the Zillertal. Even in summer, visitors can expect a fascinating world of ice and snow here—a special adventure for families.

Children can playfully explore the glacier world on the popular “Gletscherfloh” safari or let off steam on the tire slides in the snow—a rare experience right in the middle of summer.
