CASTLE TRATZBERG
Renaissance jewel among the castles of Austria was first mentioned in documents in the 13th century and served as former border festivals against Bavaria already Emperor Maximilian I as a hunting lodge. RATTENBERG - SMALLEST TOWN OF AUSTRIA
Rattenberg is the smallest town in Austria with almost 400 inhabitants is the ideal stage for your holiday and a wonderful place to stroll, enjoy and shop! In the medieval pedestrian zone, the traditional glass factories provide a lot of variety. Well worth a visit to one of the famous glassworks such as Kisslinger crystal glass. The numerous shops and an excellent gastronomy will inspire you too.
ALPENZOO INNSBRUCK
In the highest located zoo in Europe (at 750 m) in the wonderfully designed enclosures, terraria and aquaria you get to see some 2000 Alpine animals from around 150 species. The zoo is located at the foot of the Nordkette, where you get a great view across the rooftops of Innsbruck.
SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL WORLDS
In Wattens, some 40 km away, you can pay a visit to the crystal realms designed by multimedia artist André Heller. Be amazed by the water-spewing giants and glistening stones in a subterranean dreamy landscape!An extraordinary place of fantasy, art and joy of playing. The Crystal Worlds Wattens were created in 1995 by the multimedia artist André Heller the famous Crystal Worlds in Wattens. Around the mighty giant, which guards the entrance of the Crystal Worlds, stretches a 7.5-hectare garden landscape with numerous attractions, a garden with black mirrored water, play tower for the children with playground and labyrinth. ERLEBNISSENNEREI ZILLERTAL
