This way, families can explore the impressive mountain scenery together and stop for a leisurely break at an alpine hut along the way.

    Cycling with Children in the Zillertal: The Zillertal Cycle Path is one of the most popular family-friendly bike trails in the Zillertal. This family-friendly bike path runs along the entire valley floor and is ideal for leisurely bike rides with children. The route is mostly flat, very well maintained, and follows the Ziller River through the sunny valley. Highlights of the Zillertal Bike Path for families:

MTB Practice Trails for Kids in the Zillertal

Children and teens will find the perfect opportunities in the Zillertal to improve their riding skills in a fun way and gain their first experiences on trails. Right near our family hotel is the pump track at Kaboom in Kaltenbach. On the undulations and curves of the track, young riders can practice their balance, coordination, and riding skills.

Another great option is the MTB practice trail near the forest playground in Gerlos. This easy trail is perfect for first off-road rides and serves as ideal preparation for the downhill trails and bike parks in the Zillertal.

Tip: Kids’ bikes, helmets, and child seats can be rented right here at our family hotel—so nothing stands in the way of biking fun for the whole family.
