Directions By car

Coming from Munich via the Kiefersfelden border crossing—where a vignette is required—take the A12 to the Wiesing / Zillertal exit. Traveling via the Achen Pass is an interesting alternative when weather conditions are good!

Coming from the west via Garmisch and Arlberg toward Innsbruck on the A12 highway to the Wiesing / Zillertal exit, then take the B169 Zillertal Bundestraße to Kaltenbach and the valley station of the Hochzillertal mountain railway. From there, head 200 meters into the valley, then turn right at the large sign for the hotel and walk 200 meters uphill to reach our Kaltenbach, which retains the authentic architecture of a traditional mountain village.
