Experience the newly expanded Gerlos high ropes course with 100 stations, including 21 Kidslines for the little ones and 36 Flying Fox courses for adrenaline junkies! After a brief orientation, you can test your skills on ropes, wire cables, and tree trunks at heights of 10 to 15 meters. For children 105 cm and taller, there’s a special course with 21 child-friendly stations at a height of 5 meters that playfully helps develop a sense of balance. Thanks to the Smart Belay safety system, accidental unhooking is practically impossible—your safety is guaranteed!

The Zillertal High Ropes Course in Kaltenbach is an alternative day-trip destination, just a stone’s throw away from our family hotel in Tyrol. For children, youths, and teens, the Zillertal offers exciting climbing areas and a cool indoor climbing gym—ideal for action-packed adventures, even on rainy days during your family vacation.

Natur Eis Palast - Ice Cave in the Zillertal Valley

Natur Eis Palast – A fascinating natural wonder on the Hintertux Glacier that you can explore all year round! Discovered by chance in 2007, the Palace offers an unforgettable adventure for young and old alike. Without any special equipment, you can experience the breathtaking ice formations up close—a must-see for every explorer!

35 meters below the ski slope, winding passages await you, featuring impressive icicles, sparkling crystals, frozen waterfalls, and the world’s deepest research shaft in a glacier. A highlight is the Tux Giant—an imposing ice sculpture that delights children and teens in particular.

Family Tip: The Extended Tour takes you through two circuits of the Natur Eis Palast, including a boat ride on the glacial lake. An additional highlight: stand-up paddleboarding 30 meters below the ski slope on the glacial lake—a unique experience for the whole family!
