EAGLES STAGE AND LEISURE TRAIL AHORN

Enthusiasm becomes noticeable. Animal fans should not miss the highest bird of prey station in Europe at 2,000 meters altitude. The kings of the skies (eagle, eagle owl and co.) with spectacular aerial acrobatics in front of the fantastic backdrop of the Zillertal Alps hover over the visitors, while the falconers tell interesting facts about the life habits of the animals.

The on the Ahorn Plateau the Ahorn leasure trail is a special experience for young and old! The trail with various pleasure and well-being places and appeals to all senses. Absolute highlight is the Ahornsee and Ahornbachl with many play, resting and dwellings. Especially the optic inspires the route on the whole line!

MARMOTS LAND ZILLERTAL

The Murmelland Zillertal offers unique experiences in the Zillertal mountains. Here you can watch marmots up close and feed animals in the petting zoo. At the adventure playground you can try out slides, swings and many other play equipment. The small brook next to it invites to the water jam divert and splashing. The Murmelland is located directly at the Kaltenbacher Skihütte and can be reached directly from Kaltenbach via the driveway of the Zillertal Mountain road.

LAKE ACHENSEE AND THE ATOLL

In the Achental valley, some 27 km from 'Das Kaltenbach', you will come across the biggest lake in Tyrol. Head out on a boat trip with all the family here, treat yourself to a refreshing cool-down or just lie in the sunshine and relax. A superb panorama is guaranteed here! 

New is the atoll is the leisure attraction on 50.000 m² directly on the shore of the Achensee with a view that you must have seen.

SPIELJOCH - ADVENTURE MOUNTAIN

The adventure mountain Spieljoch guarantees unforgettable experiences. With the brand new Spieljochbahn you can easily reach the unique water park on the mountain. There, small and big can let off steam and just be a kid. Whether building wooden dams, rafting or balancing over the spring-fresh water on the nepal bridge. The Spiejoch offers with the summit Barfussweg the children's climbing garden and the petting zoo an Eldorado for the whole family in a unique mountain backdrop and also makes you feel like hiking in the first holiday region in the Zillertal. For more adrenaline, the FatRoller and Mountain Cart on the 5.5 km long downhill track offer perfect.

ERLEBNISSENEREI MAYRHOFEN

In Mayrhofen, around 17 km from ‘Das Kaltenbach’, you get to take a tour of the first milk and cheese street in Tyrol. Through the windows of the show dairy, you have the opportunity to take a look over the shoulder of the master cheesemaker and watch the high art of cheese making.

Brand new is the demonstration farm at the "ErlebnisSennerei". Besides cows, sheeps and goats there are also chicken and countless bees living on the demonstration farm. For the young guests they offer also mini tractors and parcours, "Heustadl" and co.
