The Hochzillertal ski area is one of the most sought-after winter sports destinations in the Alps. With 89 kilometres of pistes and state-of-the-art lift facilities the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area attracts visitors from all over the world to enjoy the coldest time of the year to the full. Very well prepared pistes, numerous events, a variety-packed range of sports and wonderful food ensures standards are high, and that there is something for everyone. If you are looking for thrills, you can really let off steam on the Hochzillertal winter climbing route. The high-alpine winter climbing route starts at the Wimbachexpress at the well-known gourmet restaurant Albergo. The use of the Hochzillertal Winterklettersteig takes place in the first line under the responsibility of the owner and is only recommended for experienced winter sports enthusiasts with experience in the alpine terrain.
