The Hochzillertal ski area is one of the most sought-after winter sports destinations in the Alps. With 89  kilometres of pistes and state-of-the-art lift facilities the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area attracts visitors from all over the world to enjoy the coldest time of the year to the full. Very well prepared pistes, numerous events, a variety-packed range of sports and wonderful food ensures standards are high, and that there is something for everyone. Then there is the fact that snow is an absolute cert here!

The Hotel Kaltenbach provides an ideal starting point for all skiers and those who do winter sports. Just 350 metres from the hotel doorstep you get to the valley station for Bergbahn Hochzillertal, which is open daily throughout the winter season from 7:30 a.m. 

Be enchanted by the powder snow and sunshine in the Hochzillertal valley and head directly from the hotel to the piste!

Every beginning is hard – at least that’s what they say. However, the ski schools in our ski area Hochzillertal provide a gentle and adequate start to skiing. For advanced users, ongoing technical trainings and driving safety courses are very interesting. In individual or group training, the technique, posture and driving safety are worked on.
